Construction has begun on Multiplex’s newest luxury project, Capitol Grand.
The development is located at the corner of Toorak Road and Chapel Street, South Yarra. It will feature both residential and six-star retail.
Consisting of 400 luxury apartments across two towers, the final development will be the 10-storey Capitol Grand Tower and the 50-storey LK Tower.
The project will feature a 24-hour concierge, private pools, gyms, dining areas and elevated gardens.
For residents above level 32 there will be a private entrance to the building, three dedicated lifts and access to the Azure Club, featuring state-of-the-art gym, lounges, dining rooms and an infinity pool.
Capitol Grand will also house fine dining options, three levels of retail and a six-level basement carpark for residential use.

“Our recent completions in Victoria including Bella Apartments, Platinum Tower, Southbank Grand Apartments and Southbank Central Apartments, are all testament to our ability to overcome the many complexities associated with building in a busy CBD environment. Construction of Capitol Grand will see approximately 500 workers onsite during peak construction,” said Mr Cottam.
The project is scheduled to be completed in late 2019.
