Development aims to transport West Melbourne to Brooklyn

Featuring four apartment buildings, a new Melbourne development will combine six award-winning design firms to create a new residential destination.

Firms Hecker Guthrie, Carr Design Group, Mim Design and Six Degrees will be working with masterplan architects ARM Architects and recently appointed principal architect, CHT Architects on the development, named West End.

Facilities included in the development are a new public park, a retail district including supermarket and medical centre, a wellness centre, day spa, pool, gym and cinema.

The ‘Adderley’ building will be the first launched, on 4 March 2017, and will be the most luxurious of the apartments.

Adderley will have 14 stories comprised of 98 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and two penthouses.

“West End brings the best in design together for the first time to create what will be an eclectic community that has a passion for great design at its core,” said Trenerry Property director Robert DiCintio.

“Great design, complemented with a unique masterplan and amenity offer, makes life better, people happier, communities stronger – West End will be a major energiser for this suburb, which reminds us of Brooklyn 10 years ago. I love the project so much that I will be moving my family to West End, as will one of the principal directors of the builder,” said Mr DiCintio.
