Affordability key in Melbourne development



A 125 apartment development in Melbourne’s north is bringing affordability to the booming area.

Those priced out of trendy suburbs Northcote and Thornbury are moving to Preston, which has lead to the new Caydon development.

Windsor & Co is located at 161-195 High Street, Preston in what was previously the Windsor Smith shoe company building.

Prices for a one-bedroom apartment start at $299,000, 65 per cent below the median for houses in the area according to CoreLogic data.
