Limited supply of new prestige office suites on Redcliffe Peninsula

Growing demand for prestige commercial property in Redcliffe is highlighting a shortage of high quality oceanfront professional office suites, according to the Real Estate Institute of Queensland Redcliffe Zone Chair Andrew Reibelt.

Mr Reibelt said Redcliffe is currently experiencing a limited availability of new professional office suites that are both modern in design and perfect in location, with Kyko Group’s $150 million mixed use Mon Komo development offering some of the only new oceanfront professional office suites on the local market.

“The Redcliffe property market is building strong momentum, with the period between December 2015 and March 2016 being the busiest four months we’ve had in 10 years,” Mr Reibelt said.

“We are seeing increasing interest in Redcliffe from business operators seeking a better work/life balance without compromising on business accessibility, amenities and infrastructure,” he said.

“Redcliffe ticks all the boxes, having evolved over the last decade to become a cosmopolitan coastal city in its own right while being close to the Brisbane CBD and the Brisbane domestic and international airports.

“The new rail line from the Brisbane CBD to the Redcliffe Peninsula is expected to be operational within six months, adding to the existing transport infrastructure offering easy access from Redcliffe to the city and surrounding suburbs.

“All of these elements combine to give the Redcliffe area immense investment appeal for business operators who are seeking a less stressful environment in a prestige oceanfront location, allowing them to create a healthy and productive workplace culture.”

TOTAL Property Group managing director and Mon Komo marketing manager Adrian Parsons said a marketing campaign to sell the remaining four Mon Komo office suites will soon commence, building on the momentum created by increasing sales inquiries coming from local and Brisbane-based business operators.

“The Mon Komo professional office suites offer buyers an ideal oceanfront business setting and an attractive investment opportunity, especially for astute business owners looking to purchase a new office through their self-managed superfund,” Mr Parsons said.

“Mon Komo’s professional office suites range from 85sqm to 198sqm in commercial space and are located on level one of the Mon Komo residential apartment tower on Marine Parade, with a separate entry lobby,” he said.

“These professional office suites would have to be the ultimate business address for professionals who are looking to relocate to a prestige oceanfront working environment in the Redcliffe area.”

The director of Mon Komo development company Kyko Group, Bill Jenkings, said the Mon Komo professional office suites were carefully designed to offer high quality integrated business and lifestyle facilities for professionals.

“The Mon Komo professional office suites are ideally located in a prime central oceanfront location at Redcliffe and are designed to make the most of the sea breezes and abundant natural light, with a key feature being large private outdoor balconies offering breathtaking north-east water views across to Moreton Bay,” Mr Jenkings said.

“Each professional office suite is sophisticated, spacious, suited to a variety of layouts and provides an ideal working environment for a range of professional services,” he said.

“Businesses are increasingly embracing a healthy workplace culture with a focus on work/life balance and Mon Komo caters for this by providing business directors and staff with access to the Mon Komo residential tower gym plus outdoor and heated indoor pools.

“The current owner operators occupying Mon Komo professional office suites are specialist medical and major national financial services professionals.

“We see the professional office suite occupants utilising the on-site convention centre including four large multi-purpose rooms with modern facilities and a range of features and options, plus on-site accommodation for colleagues or clients if required.

“There is a variety of options for lunch and dinner meetings at the on-site Mon Komo Hotel restaurant and there are many cafés just a short walk away at the Redcliffe esplanade dining precinct.

“Major amenities and public transport are within close walking distance and ample car parking is available on site, providing easy access for customers and staff.”
