Gainsborough Greens ready for successful 2016

Gainsborough Greens

Mirvac has brought forward a new precinct of homesites at its Gainsborough Greens community at Pimpama, after posting more than $35 million in sales in 2015 and retaining its position as one of the Gold Coast's fastest selling masterplanned communities.

The new land release is located adjacent to Gainsborough Greens' new $13 million display village, which officially launched this month (February) and features 19 homes from a range of Queensland’s leading builders including Adenbrook, Aston Milan, AusHomes, Bounds Homes, Clarendon, Colossal, Indigo Homes, Metricon, Palladio Homes, Planbuild, Plantation Homes, Stroud and Style Master.

The new homesites in The Reserve precinct - which is close to local parks and nature reserves - range from 300 sqm to 894 sqm and are priced from just $199,000.

Mirvac Queensland Development Director of Masterplanned Communities, Russell Berlee, said he expected Gainsborough Greens would continue to appeal to owner-occupiers and investors due to its location, amenity and affordability.

"Throughout 2015, Mirvac advanced several land releases to meet demand and achieved solid growth in homesite values during the calendar year," he said.

"With continued improved market confidence and the recent launch of our new display village, I expect we will continue to need to move quickly this year just to keep pace with buyer activity.

"The feedback from buyers is that Gainsborough Greens tops their list of new communities because it is ideally located within easy reach of Brisbane and the heart of the Gold Coast for those who work in either city, while being close to schools, shops, beaches and other lifestyle facilities.

"The lifestyle on offer at Gainsborough Greens is also a drawcard, with about 66 per cent of the development set aside for green open space, including parks, landscaped gardens and the popular 18 hole Gainsborough Greens Golf Course.

"There is an excellent variety of homesites on offer for a range of buyers, and the affordability of these is easily recognised by purchasers who have researched what else is available."

Lucky and Belinda Sidhu are among those to make the move to Gainsborough Greens, stepping into a brand new five bedroom home in the Green Park precinct.

The couple, who run the Zaza Kebab shop at neighbouring Pimpama Junction Shopping Village, had been living in the area for about a year before shifting to their new home.

Mrs Sidhu said the location was ideal.

"It is so handy to work and the people here are very nice," she said.

"We lived in Surfers Paradise before moving to the northern Gold Coast and this area is just so different. It is so green, surrounded by bushland, and very peaceful.

"We were also able to move straight into a brand new completed home, which made the move easy and the design is my dream home."

Homesites are available in two distinct precincts at Gainsborough Greens. Golf side homesites feature access to an exclusive resident-only recreation hub and resort-style swimming pool, barbeque area and tennis court, and start from $241,000, while traditional family lots are priced from $199,000.

When complete, Gainsborough Greens will comprise about 2,200 homes across a series of interconnected villages and parklands.
