Industrial development to service Perth’s northern growth corridor

Sustained growth in one of Perth’s fastest evolving residential suburbs, Brighton Estate, is driving demand for commercial property and storage options in the northern growth corridor.

To support the growing residential catchment in Perth’s north, Quipu Properties is undertaking an industrial development, comprising 16-unit warehouses, at 166 LandBeach Boulevard.

CBRE’s Daniel Sanzone, who has been appointed to sell the project in conjunction with Data Property’s Walter La Rocca, said the new development would service the rapidly growing surrounding residential area.

“Butler has undergone significant growth over the past few years, with the new Brighton Estate one of Perth’s most successful subdivisions, housing nearly 25,000 residents,” Mr Sanzone said.

“Local developer Quipu Properties recognised the opportunity to offer much needed commercial/industrial stock to local businesses, trade businesses requiring storage, local residents and investors.”

Mr La Rocca said the development showed great confidence in the growth of the northern corridor and would fill a gap in the market.

“There is little available storage opportunity west of the proposed Mitchell Freeway extension that offers convenient access like this for local residents,” Mr La Rocca said.

Construction will commence on the project early next year, with an estimated completion date of late 2016.
