Jewel developers announce CBRE to direct hotly anticipated sales launch

The Wanda Ridong Group has today announced the first apartments in its $1 billion, three-tower Jewel development on Queensland’s Gold Coast will hit the market on September 19, with an exclusive pre-sales launch for registered potential buyers.

Jewel Director of Sales and Marketing Andrew Bampton said the project was one of the most sgnificant and highly sought-after sales releases in the world this year, with developers Wanda Ridong appointing internationally-recognised property specialist CBRE to manage the anticipated demand.

“This is the most exciting real estate opportunity to hit the Australian market in decades, giving buyers the opportunity to own a property unlike any other in the world,” Mr Bampton said.

“We are able to offer astute buyers something completely different from anywhere else in the world - an unrivalled Queensland experience in one of the most bio-diverse cities in Australia.

“Jewel will offer buyers an unprecedented opportunity to live an extravagant life while also being able to walk from their apartment directly onto the world’s most celebrated beaches.

“Jewel is the city’s first absolute beachfront development in 30 years, making our residences the first in a generation to enjoy unfettered beach access. Combined with Jewel’s exquisite finishes and unrivalled amenities, these apartments will offer residents the ultimate in flawless luxury living,” he said.

Mr Bampton said CBRE will manage Saturday’s pre-launch at the Jewel experience centre on the ground floor of the Hilton Surfers Paradise, with registered parties able to snap up the apartments for the first time, and will also coordinate a formal launch later this year.

“We needed a sales partner who could understand the significance of this development, and to tell that story to the market, so appointing the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, CBRE, was the natural choice,” he said.

During the launch, CBRE will guide buyers through an interactive system, detailing floor plans, apartment finishes and even a simulation of each apartment’s individual views out to the Pacific Ocean. Buyers from across the world will be able to snap up the apartment of their choice via a real-time, centrally-connected system.

CBRE Residential Projects Gold Coast Director Nicholas Clydsdale said Jewel was an incredibly exciting offering, with the design, finish and location creating an unrepeatable opportunity to own an apartment in a world-class beachfront development.

“We apply our insight, experience, intelligence and resources to help our clients make informed real estate decisions, so it’s especially exciting to showcase a property of this calibre – we see this iconic project as a game-changer for the Gold Coast market,” Mr Clydsdale said.

“As the sixth largest city in Australia with an economy worth more than $25 billion, the Gold Coast is one of the most lucrative hot spots for growth over the next few years, particularly in the prestige property market,” he said.

The project will become Australia’s largest mixed-use development, with lifetime backing from China’s largest developer. Once complete, the unique residential and hospitality complex will be on a scale never before seen in Australia, with every component guaranteed by Wanda’s lifetime commitment to excellence.
Mr Bampton said it was an experience designed to be extraordinary in every way.

“Jewel will become a dazzling and iconic piece of architecture that is instantly recognisable and highly sought-after – a visual masterpiece at the height of contemporary sophistication,” he said.

As an equity-led development, construction officially began on March 31 without the need for pre-sales.
